Welcome
The
'Assoċjazzjoni ta' l-Organizzazzjonijiet
mhux Governattivi Għawdxin' was officially
launched on 1st August 2003 when the draft Statute was approved
and the first Council elected. This was in the presence of high
Gozo Ministry officials and with the active participation of the
Minister for Gozo Hon Giovanna Debono, on whose initiative this
project developed.
Membership (downloadable
Word doc) in this umbrella Association is open to all organizations
based in Gozo (of which there are hundreds) which
• strive to strengthen the social fabric in Gozo,
• are independent from direct government control,
• are not profit-making and
• are not affiliated with any political party.
